Made of Oilite, a copper/iron alloy impregnated with an oil lubricant (self-lubricating). Oilite bushings are commonly used in industrial and high performance applications. Longer Life: Drastically improved wear. Consumers have reported 10 times longer bushing life with these Oilite bushings vs. typical plastic bushings. Tighter Tolerance: Because the bushings are metal, MPI can construct them to much tighter tolerances than plastic bushings.
